The Youth Workforce Academy (YWA) is New Reflection’s summer program geared toward High School graduates, High School Seniors ages 18+, and incoming Seniors. This academy will give each student the full course for certification in licensure upon completion. Each student will attend class Monday-Friday during the morning and afternoon in 2 separate sessions. During this time, they will have hands-on-training with certified and trained professionals. YWA starts June 3, 2024-July 26, 2024.

Each student will be provided breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. It is essential for learning to ensure our youth are fed and ready for their courses. In fact, healthy eating inspires better concentration and aptitude. The meals are healthy and abundant and are provided by our culinary program at New Reflections.

In addition, each student will have access to our counseling center. We provide supportive services to our students so they will have a chance at success despite any current challenges. They are afforded 3 sessions with a licensed therapist and we believe this type of support will assist in the successful completion of the program while addressing outside influences that may prohibit their continued participation.

After their day is done training, through partnership with the YMCA, they will be able to go to the YMCA and participate in all it has to offer. Counseling Services are not included in tuition costs.
