The Commercial Driver’s License Class – A/B (CDL) program fulfills the requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, which governs all transportation-related industries. WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across various road and weather conditions

  • Understand and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations

  • Perform detailed pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections

  • Back, park, and maneuver 18-wheelers with precision in real-world simulations

  • Log driving hours using both traditional and electronic logging devices

  • Load and secure cargo to meet industry safety standards

  • Develop route plans and map-reading skills for efficient long-haul transport

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and freight receivers

  • Troubleshoot common mechanical issues and report necessary repairs

  • Prepare for and pass the Missouri CDL Class A licensure exam
