Transforming Lives Through Education and Opportunity

Empowering Kansas City: The Story of New Reflections

Since 1996, New Reflections Technical Institute (NRTI) has been a cornerstone of hope and opportunity in Kansas City. With a mission to uplift underserved communities through education and skill-building, we’ve provided training to thousands, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in life and work.

Our Programs: Bridging the Skills Gap

At NRTI, we understand the challenges facing our community, including underemployment, homelessness, and barriers to re-entry after incarceration. That’s why we’ve designed programs that directly address these issues. From CDL training to culinary arts, each course is crafted to meet high-demand job markets while offering our students hands-on, practical experience.

Highlights of Our Programs:

  • CDL Training: Our six-week course has placed graduates into careers earning $45,000+ annually.

  • Culinary Arts: Café Reflections provides real-world experience for aspiring chefs and hospitality professionals.

  • Construction Fundamentals: Students learn while building tiny homes for the homeless, merging community impact with skill development.

“Being at New Reflections turned my life back around. They gave me hope when I felt lost.”
