Unity Ball

For the past 4 years, New Reflection Foundation has hosted the Unity Ball to celebrate the year’s accomplishments by honoring students, acknowledging partners, and hosting motivational leaders who support vocational and technical training as a viable pathway to a better life.

Over 1,500 students have graduated from the New Reflections Technical Institute and gone on to purchase homes, start businesses, and obtain new careers with higher pay. That’s an actual ripple effect on the community – and we couldn’t do it without you!

We enjoyed a live band, dancing, cash bar, community award presentation, student acknowledgments, and guest speakers.

Stedman Graham and Oprah

MEET YOUR KEYNOTE SPEAKER

Stedman Graham is an educator, author, businessman, and speaker.

Graham was born in Whitesboro, NJ. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Hardin-Simmons University, he played basketball professionally in Europe before returning to the U.S. to work on his Master’s in Education from Ball State.

A prolific writer, he is the author of ten books, two of which became NY Times bestsellers. He has taught at several colleges and has exhibited a lifelong commitment to community via Athletes Against Drugs (AAD), a non-profit organization he founded in 1985 which remains dedicated to developing leadership in underserved youth through scholarships and education.
