A Holistic Approach to Individual Development

Empowering Communities Through Faith and Education
Pulpits to Porches is a unique initiative by New Reflections Technical Institute (NRTI) designed to bridge the gap between faith-based organizations and community development. By partnering with local churches, this program provides life-changing education, job training, and mental health support to individuals transitioning from incarceration, homelessness, unemployment, or other challenging circumstances.

How It Works

Pulpits to Porches collaborates with religious organizations to bring state-certified training programs and resources directly to church congregations. This partnership not only uplifts individuals but also strengthens the entire faith community by fostering dignity, responsibility, and self-sufficiency.

Program Benefits for Churches

  • Education & Training: NRTI offers programs in high-demand fields such as CDL training, bookkeeping, construction, and culinary arts.

  • Mental Health Support: Accessible counseling services to address trauma and support long-term success.

  • Community Impact: Your church helps individuals secure stable careers and rebuild their lives.

  • Financial Contribution: Churches receive 10% of referred tuition proceeds to reinvest in their ministries.
