Commercial Driver’s License Class A/B
The CDL program at New Reflections Technical Institute prepares students to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) standards under the U.S. Department of Transportation.

This hybrid training program includes classroom instruction, closed course (range) driving, and public roadway experience.
6 Weeks (Day Program)
Alternate Schedules Available:
- Evening Program: 10 Weeks (Mon–Thurs, 4 PM – 8 PM)
- Weekend Program: 18 Weeks (Saturdays, 8 AM – 5 PM)
Weekly Commitment
160 Hours Total (for full-time 6-week track)
- 5 Hours – Range Training
- 5 Hours – Public Road Driving
- 55 Hours – Theory & Safety Training
Schedule:
- Daytime: Mon – Fri 8AM – 2PM (6 Weeks)
- Evening: Mon – Thu 4PM – 8PM (10 Weeks)
- Weekend: Sat 8AM – 5PM (18 Weeks)
Program Completion
- Full attendance and participation
- Proficiency in all practical skills
- Successful completion of written and driving assessments
- Compliance with FMCSA requirements and instructor evaluations

Certification
